Dubbed as the “Prisoner’s Daughter of Dumaguete,” Rona is the seventh Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Teen Edition Plus housemate to enter the Big Brother house.

This 16-year-old lady has a father who was a prisoner and is from Dumaguete City.

He said this year's competition would give the candidates equal opportunities unlike last year's competition with mostly high school students as contestants.

The candidates for Miss Teen Dumaguete are Rona Marie Sedillo Libby, Ramon Teves Pastor Memorial Dumaguete Science High School; Queenie Jane Endres, Taclobo High School; Rea Ane Banguerego Orillano, Dumaguete City High School; Lynn Francine Batalan, Foundation University High School; and Andrea E. Cafranca, Hermenegilda F. Gloria Memorial High School.

Contestants for Miss Teen Dumaguete are at least 15 years old and are junior or senior high school students.

For the Miss Dumaguete, the candidates are Ann Rosefe Bernadeth Neri, a Practical Nursing student of AMA computer College; Sudhina C. Violeta, B.S Information Technology student of Asian College of Science and Technology; Mae Ann A. Ragada, a second year student of STI-Dumaguete; Alfe Marie Nathanile D. Uy, a first year B.S Business Administration student of Metro Dumaguete College; and Laarni S. Guerrero, B.S Education student of Foundation University.

The search for Miss Dumaguete 2007 officially began with a press conference last Friday.

The pageant night is set on November 23 on the eve of the Charter Day of Dumaguete City.

Aldred Gatchalian, a teen star of ABS-CBN, will be the guest of honor.

The beauty pageant is one of the major highlights of the 58th Charter anniversary and fiesta celebration of Dumaguete City on November 24 and 25.
